Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo carry out all types of painting and decorating activities both internally and externally, fencing, decorating, small maintenance tasks, demolition and alteration works and remedial works in order to complete projects to tenant or staff satisfaction as directed by your line manager or other nominated designate. To carry out the full range of painting and decorating duties to our domestic and non domestic properties. This will include wall paper stripping, all preparatory works prior to painting and the application of all specified internal and external finishes to a high standard Carry out pre and post inspections of occupied and void properties to determine the extent of internal and external painting and decoration required. Attend appointments promptly and provide tenants with information and updates on work that is being undertaken Ensure that steps are taken to keep dust and dirt to a minimum within tenanted properties and that properties are left in an acceptable condition on completion of work. To operate within a scheduled appointment system including liaison with tenants, other team members in order to effectively undertake works. Promptly record outcome of completed repairs via GoAudit providing detailed notes and ensuring that start and finish time are accurately recorded. Maintain tools and equipment to the required standard.
