We arelooking for a live in housekeeper (with some minimal babysittingduties) for a lovely client of ours.The family live in a large 5bedroomproperty in the village of Shenley. The village is close to NorthLondon and also 14 miles from Central London with train links toKing Crossetc.


The familyis composed of Mum Dad and 3 children aged 7 11 and 13. They alsohave 3 small dogs a Shih Tzu and twoCavapoo.


The house isa busy home with lots of people coming and going and also guestsetc but it s a fun home and environment to bein.


They arelooking for a housekeeper not only to assist them with thehousehold duties but to also be a part of their home and familysomeone who is looking to stay longterm.


They wouldalso consider employing two Housekeepers or a Domestic Couplealthough if you are applying as a Domestic Couple please note themale part of the job will be mostly indoors (housekeeping/assisting your partner with all the housekeeping duties) becausethey ve already got a Gardener/ Maintenance guy for the outdoorsduties.


Duties andresponsibilities may include but are not limited to thefollowing:


Keep allrooms vacuumed dusted clean and tidy at all times
Maintain the laundry and ironing
Change all bed linentowels etc
Babysitting when needed minimal
Cooking basic. If you can help prepare basic dinner for the kids(things like pasta etc) this would be great. If you can cook morethan basic that s amazing but not essential.
Receivedeliveries and deal with contractors
Help when thefamily is entertaining (prepare things clear up afterwardsetc)
In the summer the family spends a lot of timeoutside in the garden and at the swimming pool so make sure youchange/ wash the swimming pool towels etc
Feed the 3small dogs and let them out in the garden. Dad usually walksthem.
Any other duties asneeded

Working days andhours: ideally 6 days a week 7am to 7:30pm/ 8pm with breaks. Mon toSat. The family will however definitely consider someone Mon to Frionly or someone for 5.5 days a week so please apply if keen anddiscuss with theagency.

Accommodationfor the HK would be own room and bathroom on the topfloor.

Drivingis notessential.

Theirlast housekeeper has been with them for 3 years and highlyrecommendsthem.

Theyare looking for someone with previous housekeeping experience in aprivatehousehold

Someonelovely and friendly smiley with a cheerful personality happy towork in a household with children and also to be part of thefamily

Someonewho can work on their own initiative and who will hit the groundrunning/ who will help run thehouse
