Responsibilities

Do you want to make a difference? Do you want to work in an environment where you can use your skills, knowledge, and creativity to achieve the best for people?

Park House is a busy 18 bedded purpose-built detox unit recently updated using a Psychologically Informed Environment approach to enhance the experience of staff and those who use our service, and we are looking for a new nurse to join us.

Our team is made up of many skilled staff working together – including our Operational Manager, a Consultant Psychiatrist, Doctors, Lead Nurses, Nurses, Peer Mentors, Volunteers, Health Care Assistants, Chef, Housekeeper, Administrators, and local Pharmacists. Our collective aim is to make a difference to the lives of our residents and their families.

We are looking for Nurses and HCAs who can actively contribute to Park House, ensuring that we deliver a consistently excellent clinical service. As a nurse/HCA in the team, you will provide care to those undertaking medically managed detoxes and a holistic approach to any mental and physical health concerns. We will provide an induction and training paid by us to ensure you feel confident to provide the best care to people who come to us.

At Change Grow Live services no two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our unit as an individual being curious, a good listener and having an intuitive approach are essential. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and our permanent staff work to a shift pattern including days, nights, and weekends. It is essential that all nursing staff are physically able to participate in safe manual handling techniques as part of Park House duties, should the need arise.

We always keep the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do, and

we are committed to the active involvement of service users in their care and service delivery.

Does this sound like you? If so, we look forward to reading your application soon.
