Under the direction of the Head of Remedials, the role is responsible for supervising the work of Plumbers in the midlands region. The Plumbing Supervisor has responsibility for driving the productivity of their team. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Day to day liaison with engineers.
  • Mobilising works (e.g. ordering parts, chemicals etc).
  • Overseeing booking of works and advising the scheduler of the timings, engineer skills required and impact to site.
  • To carry out performance and development reviews, identifying training needs 
  • Carrying out training of employees as required 
  • Responsible for productivity of the team 
  • Delivers toolbox talks and business updates to employees  

 

Required Skills:

  • Good attention to detail
  • A pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident IT user - Word, Excel and Outlook
