As a Cleaning Operative (Relief), you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various facilities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness of public areas, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces. You will use a variety of cleaning methods and equipment to achieve high-quality results and contribute to a safe and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish sanitary supplies as needed Empty trash cans and replace liners to maintain cleanliness Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to maintain a polished appearance Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is necessary Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or similar role preferred Knowledge of cleaning methods and materials Ability to use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and colleagues effectively
