Casual Lifeguard

We are looking to recruit a hardworking Lifeguard to join the team at Wakefield Council on a casual basis. Casual staff help cover holidays and sickness and can pick up hours around other commitments. Please note this opportunity is only available at Normanton Leisure, Featherstone Sports Centre, Minsthorpe Leisure Centre and Sun Lane Leisure.

The role requires someone who can ensure that the departmental services are provided to the highest quality/standard with due recognition of clients and customers requirements in accordance with the council’s customer care and equal opportunities policies. Primarily keeping our pools clean safe and tidy.

Please note that a NPLQ is essential for this role.

We are looking for someone who can fully participate in the team working approach to allocation of duties within sports and active lifestyles. To meet the customer and representatives of the service user and provide information on request.
