Responsibilities

Lead and manage defence projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget. Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and production. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and subcontractors. Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any deviations. Prepare and present regular project status reports to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing process enhancements to optimize project delivery. Manage project documentation, including contracts, technical specifications, and change orders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Master's Degree or PMP certification is a plus.

Team Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Risk Management: Proactive in identifying and mitigating project risks.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the marine defence or defence industry. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in project management software (., MS Project, Primavera). Knowledge of defence industry standards and regulations is highly desirable. Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
