What you’ll be doing

as a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor: Undertake audits/inspections. Assist in the review and agreement process of safe systems of work and risk assessments where there is a significant risk to safety and the environment. Provide support and advice to stakeholders (which will include wholesale, support service staff, and contractors) on Safety, Health, and Well-being matters including compliance with applicable legislation and industry best practices. Deliver training in line with the annual training plan. Assist with compliance on high-hazard sites under the COMAH regulations. Lead incident investigations. Liaise with enforcing authorities and professional/industry groups.


What you should bring to the role:

NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ level 5. Have or working towards CMIOSH. Extensive track record of working in a health & safety role within water, utilities or critical national infrastructure environment, Ideally with some process safety experience will be beneficial. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal and the ability to communicate with senior business leaders. Be self-motivated and able to work as a part of a team. Full UK Driving license.

Competitive salary from £41,040 to £60,000 per annum depending on skills and experience. Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (Plus bank holidays).
