- Provide tailored support and guidance to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Develop individualised learning plans based on students' specific requirements and capabilities.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrable experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and educational best practises.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN.
- This is a part-time temporary role, requiring flexibility in working hours.
- The role is based in a secondary school in Merton, Greater London.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
