Job Duties:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support classroom teachers in delivering educational programmes. This includes assisting with lesson planning, preparing educational materials, and providing one-on-one support to students. You will also help maintain a positive learning environment and assist with classroom management.

Required Qualifications:

- A relevant educational qualification

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team

Education:

A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential

Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge of educational principles and practises

- Excellent organisational skills

- Ability to adapt to varying student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional qualifications in education or childcare

- First aid certification

Working Conditions:

You will primarily work within a school setting, assisting teachers and students. The role may require some physical activity and the ability to adapt to different learning environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
