Job overview

We are looking to recruit motivated, enthusiastic and flexible people 
into a team who will deliver therapeutic and compassionate care for 
patients who have an enhanced care requirement. This is an exciting 
new service to Bart’s Health NHS Trust and is part of our journey to good 
and outstanding.
This would be an exciting opportunity to develop new and existing skills 
for an established Healthcare Assistant within a hospital 
setting/community setting or for an individual who is looking to develop 
skills prior to embarking on a career in nursing. 
You will possess good communication skills and be able to work well as 
part of a team, with a passion for providing collaborative and 
compassionate care. Your development and performance will be 
supported and overseen by an Enhanced care Team Leader alongside 
the established senior nursing team

Main duties of the job

The healthcare assistant will work within the Enhanced Care team to provide high level care to meet the patients additional care requirements, actively engaging in the assessment and planning / evaluation process under the direct supervision of the registered nursing team on the ward and the Enhanced Care Co-Ordinator.
