About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Minworth. In this role, you will be responsible for the line management of Team Leaders, managing the day-to-day operational tasks, processes and throughput within your area.
How you will contribute
Plan, coordinate work, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of team members. Ensure their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials. Monitor and measure team member performance for accuracy and document on daily production metrics. Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimise workplace accidents. Ensure compliance of employees to processes, work instructions, standard work and work elements. Liaise with materials department to ensure on time receipt and shipment of material, with the maintenance of all storage locations and labelling Daily interaction with customer on site, as well as suppliers Present and deliver projects or tasks to various stakeholders Other duties as assigned.What you will bring
At least 1 year's proven experience as a team leader, within a similar role Proven experience in managing a large team of at least 15 + people Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Experience and or training regarding the Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred. Quality systems knowledge - to a reasonable level be able to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (including, but not limited to: timekeeping, quality, productivity, Experience interacting with senior stakeholders Basic IT skillsCompensation
