Salary Scale: £80.00 - £90.00 per day

Status: Full Time

Start Date: September 2024

About the Role:

GSL Education are searching for a compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student with special needs at a supportive primary school in Boston. This role involves close work with an individual student, assisting them in their daily school activities and learning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to a student with additional needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of educational and behavioural plans.
  • Encourage the student's independence and social integration.
  • Maintain regular communication with teachers and parents to facilitate consistent support.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role or a strong desire to work in special education.
  • Exhibit patience, empathy, and a nurturing disposition.
  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Hold or be willing to undergo DBS clearance.
