We have exciting new jobs for Healthcare Support Apprentices across our services. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and achieve a Level 2 Modern Apprentice qualification in Health and Social Care. There are opportunities within a range of our services.

You will receive a comprehensive induction, formal training and you will be provided with the support and guidance that you need to achieve success

You will need to be dedicated to completing the NVQ/QCF L2 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care for up to 18 months and have an interest in the Health Service.

Please be aware that if you already hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent you will not be eligible for the Apprenticeship scheme.

Please note: The Assessment Centres will be held on 4th July 2024 and Interviews will be held on 5th July 2024.

Main duties of the job

As an apprentice health care support worker you will:

Earn a salary while studying Gain job specific skills, knowledge ad behaviours Have regular pastoral support and personal development reviews Support to achieve the core competency requirements of the role Gain experience within the NHS and understand the structure and different services delivered to our local community.

You will be helping to provide a first class administration service to members of the public, patients and colleagues across the Health Board.

Apprentices will be paid at 70% of the top of Band 2 Grade

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
