5DRecruitment are proud to be working with a specialist manufacturingcompany that designs and manufactures a wide range of products fromarchitectural metal work through to portable bars furniture andsecurity products.


Their mostsuccessful product range is portable dance floors and bars whichare sold globally to wedding venues and event management companiesfrom small local based businesses through to the largest luxuryhotel brands in the world. As part of aconsidered growth strategy we are looking to recruit at least onepotentially two sales and business development roles to help thebusinessgrow.



Requirements

Whatthe role willinvolve:

80%of this role is new business using a variety of methods includingemail and social media lead generation and following up on incomingenquiries.

Working with themarketing team to maximize the use of social media this willinclude platforms like Instagram Facebook snapchat and LinkedIn togenerate leads with the aim of converting them intosales.

Youwill be selling to a wide variety of people from owners anddirectors through to event coordinators and operationsmanagers.

Youwill manage the sales process from initial contact through to orderdelivery.

Lead generationthis could come from previous customers market intelligencefollowing up on incoming enquiries identifying shows andexhibitions to visit or even exhibit at through to directories andnetworking with existingclients.

Asthis role develops there will be an increasing amount of repeatbusiness and client relationships to manager which is the other 20%of therole.


Whatthey are looking for in acandidate:

Confidentoutgoing and an excellentcommunicator.

Experience inspeaking to people this could be in a business to business (B2B) orbusiness to consumer (B2C)setting.

Ideally thiswill be in a sales environment but it could also be in customerservice complaint handlingetc.

Happy to coldcall new client this includes identifying points of contact totarget understanding decision makers and targetingthem.

ITliterate able to communicate effectively over email and to updatethe CRM and sales ordersystems.
