We are seeking a dynamic English Teacher to join a Secondary School in Redbridge. This full-time position is offered on a contract basis and is perfect for someone who is passionate about teaching English and fostering student development in a supportive environment.

 

As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons, inspiring students to develop their language and literature skills. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated staff to ensure students reach their full potential in both academic and personal growth. This role is ideal for a motivated educator with a passion for English and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
  • Support students in developing their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage academic growth.
  • Ensure a safe and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience teaching English at the secondary level is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the secondary English curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students, staff, and parents.
  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
