Are you a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher who has Deputy Head Teacher experience looking for a new role? Step Teachers are working with a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Nursery school in Kilburn to find a qualified Nursery Teacher who has experience working as a Deputy Headteacher who will be working class based half a week and will also be carrying out the role of Deputy headteacher ,To join their team in September 2024 in a Long-term (Supply) Position where you can collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals who care and make a significant difference to children’s educational success and future attainment.

Nursery Teacher - Role:

  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
  • As the Deputy Headteacher you will assist the Headteacher in the overall management and administration of the school.
  • Manage student welfare and behavior, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • As the Deputy Headteacher, you will engage with parents, carers, and external stakeholders to foster strong partnerships and enhance the school's reputation. 

Nursery Teacher - Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.
  • Have recent experience as a Nursery Teacher in a primary or preschool setting.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behavior management.
  • Experience working with SEND is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students towards achieving excellence.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the school community.
