We are seeking a dedicated Administrator to join our dynamic team, providing essential administrative support within a complex and demanding environment. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will assume a significant role, managing the efficient day-to-day operations of the Service Office. This position demands a high level of autonomy and responsibility to ensure seamless service delivery and effective office management.
In this role, you will oversee all financial matters related to the Service, including processing invoices, managing petty cash, and maintaining accurate records of income and expenditure. You will need to anticipate potential budget issues and provide timely updates to the Service Manager. Additionally, you will handle personal finance matters for service users, reconcile monthly accounts, and liaise with external agencies as necessary. Strong organisational skills and a thorough understanding of financial procedures are essential.
Your administrative responsibilities will include supporting staff, managing filing systems, and overseeing administrative assistants. You will be expected to handle reception duties, draft documents, and manage meeting arrangements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, accurate typing skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are crucial. A warm and professional manner is required, reflecting our Christian ethos and ensuring respectful interaction with service users and other professionals.
Job Role
We also offer you a range of benefits that you would expect from an organisation that support others.
Firstly, there is access to a wide range of exclusive retail and leisure discounts through our rewards scheme and the Blue Light Discount card. We also ensure that your future and that of your loved ones is secured with a generous contributory pension plan and death in service benefit. Balancing work and family are made easier with our suite of enhanced family friendly policies and your health and wellness are prioritised with access to our health cash plan, giving you cash back for a wide range of health treatments. We even have access to a care concierge service to assist you with life's challenges, providing invaluable support when you need it most.
But we also know that your training and development is important to you, and as well as a contribution to your professional membership fees, we are keen to support you in making the right steps to learn, grow and develop in ways that are right for you.
