PositionOverview:

The successful candidatewill be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engagingScience curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with thepossibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on expertise andexperience. The role entails fostering a dynamic and supportivelearning environment that encourages curiosity critical thinkingand a love for scientificexploration.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Designand deliver stimulating Science lessons that align with thenational curriculum and the schools educationalethos.
• Create a positive classroom atmospherethat promotes student engagement participation and a sense ofwonder about the natural world.
• Assess andmonitor student progress providing constructive feedback tofacilitate individual growth anddevelopment.
• Collaborate effectively withcolleagues within the Science department and across the school toenrich the learning experience.
• Stay abreast ofcurrent pedagogical approaches and developments in scienceeducation.

Qualificationsand Experience:

• ABachelors degree or higher in Science with specialization inBiology Chemistry or Physicspreferred.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or anequivalent teaching qualification.
• Demonstratedexperience teaching Science at the secondarylevel.
