Main Purpose of Job: To run the key operational aspects of the business and client projects from commencement to sign off. This includes the co-ordination and completion of all projects on time, within budget and on scope. Co-ordinate with other departments and parties to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and can be delivered on time.

Main Responsibilities:  
  • Oversee all aspects of the operations processes, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of all projects, on an ongoing basis. 
  • Lead and direct the work of all relevant parties. Coordinate the purchase and import of materials for projects, working with factories and technical teams overseas to ensure goals and requirements are clearly articulated and understood. 
  • Quality check incoming shipped product on arrival from the factory before transporting or placing into stock. 
  • Communication with shipping and freight companies to ensure timelines are kept clearly in focus and any changes that could affect projects are discovered early and communicated. 
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. 
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. 
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation. 
  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines to monitor and track progress and to provide project feedback to the client, to be shared with clients as well as other team members and partners. 
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. 
  • Measure and track project performance, using appropriate tools and techniques, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals and to keep the project on track.
  • Report and escalate issues to management, as necessary, providing possible solutions to issues for consideration.
  • Perform risk management assessments and reviews to minimize project risks. 
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with third parties/vendors, clients and stakeholders. 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. 
  • Meet with clients to take detailed order briefs and clarify the specific requirements of each project. 
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis. 
  • Main point of contact for aftersales and client care for remedial works and project issues. 
  • Manage service contracts and maintenance. 
  • Assist clients to resolve any occurrence of technical issues with an existing install alongside the technical team to maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Liaise regularly with 3rd party installation teams to keep them updated and onboard. 
  • Management of system/product improvements, as appropriate, to ensure operating as efficiently as possible at all times. 
  • Manage compliance to best practice standards on install and product.
  • Always promote the vision and objectives of the company. 
  • Work collaboratively with key partners, particularly in relation to freight and scheduling orders from overseas factory, including the synchronising of delivery dates.

  • Evidence of increasing gross profit of projects through identifying and implementing appropriate cost savings and financial project decision-making
