Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher looking for a new role?
Step Teachers has partnered with a "Good" Ofsted-rated Primary School in Barnet to seek a Year 5 Teacher for their team starting in September 2024. The role involves supporting a class of enthusiastic and well-behaved Key Stage 2 pupils, with pre-planned lesson structures provided, relieving the successful candidate of additional planning responsibilities. The ideal Year 5 Teacher should demonstrate passion and readiness to actively engage with students, contributing to the school's culture of politeness, friendliness, and safety.
Year 5 Teacher - Role:- Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
- Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
- Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Have recent experience as a Year 5 Teacher in a primary school.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
