Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying trash. Ensure all cleaning supplies are used and stored safely. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Assist with laundry services as needed. Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Elizabeth Court in Caterham is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 59 residents.
