Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a team of BI developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Define clear roles and responsibilities for team members and facilitate their professional development through regular feedback and performance evaluations.

  • Management of Analytics in EMEA
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge in Analytics tools and its utilization
  • Lead frontend implementation projects
  • Prioritize projects based on business impact and available resources, ensuring timely and effective delivery
  • Define, prioritize and monitor appropriate requirements and continuously review the process.
  • Participate in innovation related projects and implementation.
  • Lead analytics business requirements gathering, solution design and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and data security policies.
  • Encourage best practise sharing and standardisation between the speedboats.
  • Ensure effective and efficient internal processes.
  • Ownership and responsibility of Analytics in EMEA:
  • Provoke, challenge and feed the organization with new and modern ways of data usage in alignment with Data Engineering and Process Management in the organization.
  • Deliver new ways to drive, predict and analyse today’s business
  • Application Ownership
  • Overall ownership and responsibility for Analytics tools in EMEA
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of analytics, proactively identify opportunities to enhance analytics capabilities and propose innovative solutions to address business challenges

Additional Tasks
  • Enablement Initiatives
    - Develop and execute enablement initiatives to develop skills within various business units
    - Support knowledge transfer in BI and Process Mining teams
  • Project Management
    Manage certain business projects independently

Profile:
  • 5+ years of work experience in the area of business intelligence, data analytics, and/or consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field such as business informatics, information sciences, data science, economics, statistics or a comparable degree
  • Experience with database technologies, SQL, ETL, data modelling and analytics
  • Structured working methods and ability to work independently with personal responsibility
  • Ability to lead teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • A track record of driving data-driven decision-making within an organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills, persuasive power and a team player.
  • Fluent in English
  • Project management basics

Authorities:
  • First Escalation level in terms of Analytics set-up
  • Analytics decision making.
