Job overview

We are currently looking for a full time Health Care Assistant who will be working as a member of the St Ives District Nursing Community Team undertaking delegated duties in order to meet the needs of the needs of the service users. 

 You will be trained and supervised by registered professionals and will be expected to follow a plan of care based on the specific needs of the service users.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our service providing care in patient’s own homes.

Main duties of the job

As a Community Health care Assistant you will work closely with the nursing team to follow a plan of care in deliver high quality, best practice care to adults with a range of complex health needs within their own homes. We are looking for caring, responsive and diverse people who share our passion to deliver our service.

We are looking for someone with:

Experience of working in the community. Experience of working within health or social care. Experience of caring for and supporting adults and older people Demonstrate a commitment to high quality care & service provision. Good communication skills. The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team, as well as individually. Working for our organisation
