The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for a Cafe Chef to join a well established Cafe based in the heart of Swansea City Centre.


Contract: Permanent
Salary: £13.50ph
Hours of work: Full time: 42.5 hours pw. Tues to Sat 7am-4pm shifts. Sunday and Mondays closed.


Role Responsibilities:

  • To support the head & Sous chef in the kitchen, delivering the very best standards of customer service and food service
  • Ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to and exceeded
  • Plating up meals and ensuring the presentation is of a high standard
  • Ensure kitchen and back areas remain clean, tidy and a safe working environment at all times
  • Good teamwork skills and attention to detail


Experience/ skills required:

  • Cooking: 1 year experience as a minimum
  • Food and Hygiene certificate Level 2
  • Previous kitchen experience
  • Ability to work at speed without compromising quality
  • Able to cook a wide menu range of home cooked food
