Customer Service Representative

Location: Baldwin Park CA
Pay Rate: $32/hour
Summary
This position supports the Customer Service andSales teams by undertaking a broad range of customer service dutiesfor assigned customers related to OEM and/or repair salesquotations and orders. Duties include pricing quoting purchaseorder review order entry resolving customer hold issues expeditingcustomer orders and addressing customer inquiries and concerns withthe objective of maintaining positive customer relationships withinthe organization.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface between assigned customersand Sales Engineering Materials Operations and Finance colleaguesto support customer needs and business objectives.
- Purchase order review order entry and maintenance andresolution of customer issues.
- Communicatewith Sales and Operations personnel to ensure awareness of andalignment with goals and customer needs.
- Review customer contracts specifications purchase ordersshipping instructions and other customer requirements and supportdocumentation.
- Maintain files for quotesorders contracts and related customer documents.
- Interact individually with the sales team to identify andclarify information and research needs.
- Customer interfacing specifically as back up withinternal requests if Sales team is on the road.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by responsiblemanager and/or business unit manager
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma required
- College course work in a related disciplinepreferred
- Experience: 35 years as a CustomerService Representative in OEM MRO / Aftermarketpreferred.
- Prior contracts experience ispreferred
- Qualifications:Proven team player who has demonstrated capabilities in thefollowing areas: excellent communication presentation andinterpersonal skills welldeveloped problemsolving skills; solidorganizational skills; and the demonstrated ability to beselfdirected and effectively relate to all levels of anorganization
- Attention to detail accuracy isimperative
- Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills
- Ability to be aneffective team member and display initiative
- Looking for a handson individual with the ability to seethe big picture
- Proven business partnershipskills with the demonstrated ability to work in a matrixedorganizational environment
- Must be able tomanage a high volume of transactions and prioritize work to meetthe growing demands of the business
- Ability towork well under pressure multitask and meet deadlines
- Computer skills to include Word and Excel.PowerPoint
- Ability to handle confidentialinformation in a discreet professional manner
- Work hours must be flexible and overtime will be requiredto meet the demands of the position.
- Aerospaceindustry experience is a plus
- Must be able towrite proficiently read and speak English
- Mustbe able to communicate in English with customers clearly andconcisely
- Must be performed with or withoutreasonable accommodation.

- Regular use of hands/fingers for handling holdinggrasping and typing on a computer keyboard
