FULL TIME REGIONAL CHEF

Duties of a Care Home Chef:


  • Ensure residents are provided with a balanced & nutritious diet
  • Consider special dietary, medical, ethnic, religious needs and personal preferences
  • You will control the efficient and economic production of quality food
  • Work within the allocated budget
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with EHO regulations


What You Need:


  • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 (Desirable)
  • Full driving licence & access to own vehicle (Essential)
  • Caring & trustworthy in nature
  • Patient and understanding
  • Want to make a difference
  • Excellent communications skills & friendly personality


Shift Pattern:


  • Rolling rota (including weekends) - working 5 out of 7 days
  • Locations: Hartlepool, Bearpark, Durham, Newcastle, Bishop Auckland, Jarrow & Gateshead
  • 8am - 5pm
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift


Rate of Pay & Benefits:


  • £12.47 per hour
