We are looking to appoint a Geography Teacher to join a high school in Blackpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about engaging young people.

About the Role:

As our Geography Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, following the national curriculum.
  • Work closely with the Humanities department to create resources, monitor students' progress, and support individual learning needs.
  • Support and prepare students for success in their GCSE exams, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to achieve their best results.

About You:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Geography and a commitment to making the subject accessible and inspiring.
  • Previous experience teaching Geography at the secondary level, or relevant experience for newly qualified teachers.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach, with a commitment to contributing to the wider school community and working effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
