Responsibilities:

  1. Class Leadership: Take responsibility for leading classes under the guidance of teaching staff, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

  2. Curriculum Support: Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, providing support to individual students and small groups as needed.

  3. Assessment: Contribute to the assessment process by conducting observations, recording student progress, and providing feedback to both students and teaching staff.

  4. Differentiation: Work closely with teachers to differentiate instruction based on the needs of individual students, ensuring an inclusive learning experience for all.

  5. Behavior Management: Implement effective behavior management strategies, promoting a positive and respectful classroom culture.

  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with teaching staff and other support professionals to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  1. Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
  2. Previous experience leading classes in a primary school setting.
  3. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals.
  5. A proactive and positive approach to supporting student learning and development.
  6. Flexibility to work in different schools within the Hatfield area.
