Your role:
Unique opportunity to join us , as the leading independent provider of water and air hygiene services across the UK. Your role will engage in pre-planned maintenance of water hygiene works for our client sites across Glasgow & Edinburgh in our field-based role. You will need to be flexible to also travel to Stirlingshire & Lanarkshire as required. You will already be a water treatment engineer with a passion to deliver high quality through exceptional customer service.
Your responsibilities:
- Temperature checking
- Cleaning and disinfecting showers
- Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
- Delivering TMV checks and maintenance
- Completing all work on in house software using an iPad
- Providing high standards of customer service to our varied client sites
Requirements
Essential
- Previous water hygiene experience within legionella focused role
- Experience servicing TMV's
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience working across various customer sectors, delivering high quality work
- Previous experience using iPad technology
Desirable
- Qualified in City & Guilds Disinfection or similar recognised course
Full UK, manual Driving Licence (You will be provided with a company van and business fuel card)

All roles at SMS require a DBS check; SMS Environmental will cover the cost of this if you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate.
