We are seeking a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our team on a long-term basis starting in November 2024. The ideal candidate will be confident in handling a variety of cases and comfortable with both consultations and theatre work.

Job Description:
As a Locum Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a vital role in providing excellent veterinary care in our busy practice. You will handle a mix of consults and theatre work, with some sole charge responsibility. We are looking for a vet who is confident, adaptable, and able to provide high-quality service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a mix of routine consultations and surgical procedures.
  • Provide high-quality medical care and treatment for pets.
  • Work independently during sole charge shifts when required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Build rapport with clients, offering advice and information regarding pet health and treatments.

Working Hours:

  • 4 days per week.
  • Shifts: 9am - 7pm.

Requirements:

  • MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Experience in both consultations and surgical procedures.
  • Ability to work sole charge when needed.
  • Strong communication skills and a caring, professional attitude.

Remuneration:

  • £450 per day.
