We have a Carer Assessment Keyworker role based at our Gloucestershire Care Hub who will work with unpaid Carers with a strengths-based approach supporting the identification of needs and empowering Carers to live their best lives. This will include using knowledge of the Care Act 2014 to identify eligible needs and considering how these needs can be met. 

As a Keyworker you will be responsible for delivering Carer support services including conducting Statutory Carers Assessments, delivering general advice, 1:1 support, updating support plans, signposting / referring to relevant support services, marketing and localised engagements. 

Have you got what it takes?

You should have a passion for what you do along with relevant experience of providing emotional and practical support towards carers to motivate and ensure their roles are carried out appropriately. You will also introduce the services of the Carers Hub to ensure they have the best possible support within their education and training.

What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of the Care Act 2014 

  • Level 3 Award in Information, Advice or Guidance (QCF) or equivalent- or the willingness to work toward this 

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Understanding of Adult and Children safeguarding

  • IT and Microsoft literate

  • Highly skilled communicator

This is a part time position for working 34 hours per week.
