JOB TITLE: Cleaning Operative

LOCATION: Intel Livingston

PAY RATE: £ per hour

WORKING HOURS: 15 hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday, 6am - 9am

OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION 

Cleaning premises for prestigious Client, includes washrooms, kitchens, carpets and any surrounding areas. 

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

- Hoovering/mopping, cleaning washrooms and kitchens 

- Carrying out deep cleans as required and using buffers and carpet cleaners – training provided 

- Ensuring premises are safe and disinfected regularly 

- Removing waste, replenishing consumables and supplies and attending reactive jobs (spillages) 

- Customer Service as working along Client and Client’s staff 

Person Specification: 

- Must be well presented and good communicator 

- Must have a can-do attitude and polite and approachable demeanour 

- Hardworking and proactive, good timekeeping and attendance record 

Essential 

Previous cleaning experience preferred with focus on unsupervised work and prioritising workload  Strong customer service/care and leadership skills  Problem solving and time management skills desired  Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative  Flexible and proactive attitude essential  Understanding & knowledge of health and safety policies  Needs to represent ABM values on site by being presentable, uniformed, and helpful at all times Willing to go the extra mile  Always follow Company Policies and procedures  Ensure that the work environment and equipment are safe and well maintained  Identify and correct hazardous conditions
