Newly Qualified Accountant – Carrickfergus/hybrid - £30,000 + Bonus

Black Fox Solutions are pleased to work with a growing Accountancy practice who are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-orientated Newly Qualified Accountant to join the team.

Duties:

  • Review and submit annual financial statements and accounts in compliance with statutory obligations and deadlines to HMRC.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of CT and VAT returns to HMRC and Companies House.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of the clients to handle any tax-related inquiries or issues.
  • Provide advice to clients and company partners on tax planning and implications of business decisions.
  • Manage and coordinate monthly reporting to partners.
Criteria:

  • Qualified membership in a professional body like ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in accountancy practice and taxation.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Sage and Xero.
