Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN)

Hourly Rate: £20.84

Day / Night /Mixed Shifts

Hours Per week:
  • Days: 33 - 44
  • Nights: 36 - 48

Shift Times: 8:00-8:00

Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN)
  • Valid UK NMC Pin
  • Clear DBS.

About the Nursing Home:

Set amongst 4 acres of landscaped gardens, this Care Home's two wings are home to residents who live with others requiring similar care. From minimum personal care through to extra medical staff and equipment to support those with dementia, each family is safe, secure and comfortable.

They believe that any person moving into a care home should be able to continue with a normal independent life as far as possible. This means that they choose how they'd like to live and the level of care they wish to receive, also taking into account the views of family members.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
  • Completing physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
  • Creating individualised care plans for residents.
  • Updating care plans daily.
  • Safely administering and recording of medication
  • Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers.
  • Monitoring and developing performance of care staff.
  • Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
  • Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individual's needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.
