Kennedys is looking for a Associates to work in the Tax Disputes and Investigations team in our Commercial division. This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded team which is located in our London office with real opportunities to take on responsibility and for career progression.

Team

Kennedys' Tax Disputes and Investigations team covers both direct and indirect contentious tax matters. This includes (but is not limited to) managing tax risk, HMRC investigations and tax litigation before the tax tribunals and higher courts. The team acts for corporates and private clients in many jurisdictions around the world supporting them through crisis related issues with tax authorities and regulatory and law enforcement bodies. The team is led by Andy Brown who has been involved in many of the UK's most high profile pieces of tax litigation.


Required experience

UK qualified solicitors, barristers or tax qualified individuals with relevant experience.* An understanding of, and interest in, tax law and procedures relevant to the level of experience Experience of running tax cases in a team environment Previous client contact and attendance at business development events.
