As a CAD drafts person, you will be working alongside the tender team to produce tender drawings when the tender team are busy but your main focus will be to work alongside the design/construction team, to produce civils and electrical drawings to issue to developers and site managers.

Produce construction drawings through the various stages of construction from conception to completion. Keep any drawing registers up to date. Produce as constructed drawings following project completion. Produce elevation drawings. Produce lines and levels drawings from data provided by surveying topography. Produce a CAD library for use across the Rock team. Work with the design team to understand client requirements. Attend client meetings where required. 2D CAD utilising AutoCAD and experience of 3D CAD (not essential). Good attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical information and drawings and translate this onto AutoCAD. Produce ad-hoc drawings in standard form in support of tendering activities.

You will also be tasked with creating elevation drawings and lines and levels drawings using data provided by surveying topography.

One of your key responsibilities will be to develop a CAD library for use across the Rock team. You will work closely with the design team to understand client requirements and may be required to attend client meetings. Your role will involve using 2D CAD, specifically AutoCAD, and while experience with 3D CAD is not essential, it would be beneficial.

A key aspect of your role will be your attention to detail, particularly when it comes to interpreting technical information and drawings and translating this onto AutoCAD. Lastly, you will also be expected to produce ad-hoc drawings in standard form to support tendering activities. This role is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for design.

We are looking for a team player who possesses good organisational skills. The ability to manage time and prioritise effectively is crucial for this role. The ideal candidate should have good verbal and written skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Experience in M&E and building services is a significant advantage. While a background in Utilities, Building services, or Civils would be ideal, it is not a strict requirement. The candidate should be competent in using AUTOCAD 2D, and while experience with 3D is beneficial, it is not essential. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is a team player, organised, and has a knack for detail.
