Currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their outstanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students to develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, and foster a passion for literature and language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the English curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in English or a related field.
  • Experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
