We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated valeting specialist to join the successful and dedicated team at our Tamworth site.
About the job
This specialised role involves polishing and valeting all vehicles being repaired on site. You will be responsible for ensuring that all customer vehicles are returned to them in pristine condition.
Your primary duties will include:
Ensuring all areas of repair have been polished to remove defects. Performing mini and full valets of customer vehicles as required, thoroughly cleaning both the interior and exterior of vehicles, including vacuuming, washing, waxing, and polishing surfaces. Adhering to company standards and procedures to consistently deliver high quality service and standards and that customer vehicles are returned to them in immaculate condition. Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and ensure that health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
About you
We are looking for a candidate with experience in automotive valeting and polishing, preferably from an accident repair background.
You will have:
Specialist car valeting experience, including removing stubborn substances such as brake dust, iron deposits, road tar, tree sap etc. Experience in various polishing techniques and equipment to address different levels of paint defects, such as 3 stage machine polishing. A strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently, skilfully and safely in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise tasks and be flexible in your approach The ability to work well within a team as well as using your own initiative. A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. A valid driver's licence (which is ideally clean).Ideally, you will also have experience in carrying out quality control on vehicles, including inspecting for damage and defects and identifying calibration of safety related items (such as ADAS, SRS, etc).
