A leading streetwear brand that gains inspiration from the UK’s urban scene coupled with musical influences requires a Senior Menswear Designer to join their design team. This role is based in Birmingham and offers hybrid working.

The brand has an increasing presence in the US & Europe and has recently successfully launched womenswear.

As the Senior Menswear Designer you will be responsible for:

• Leading the junior designers
• Presenting and leading brand meetings with the buying teams.
• Creating a strong report with your external buying teams, dealing with day to day requests and finding solutions to any issues.
• Track company sales reports reacting to orders and client trade information.
• Conduct trend analysis, design presentations and competitor reports to advise on future trends and key product direction.
• Recognise gaps in the market and create brand strategies to present to directors.
• Problem solve and create solutions to present to the senior team and external clients.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, show awareness of their capabilities, ensuring they have all relevant information to deliver required results
• Overseas travel and trips for product development/sourcing and inspirational trips building strong ranges and supplier relationships.
• Review all product ranges/samples regularly with the design director, highlighting any problems/changes that need to be addressed
• Working with the design team to internally sign off ranges
