Role Overview:

Are you passionate about sales and customer service? As a Store Sales Assistant at 8Bits, you will be an essential part of our team, helping customers find the perfect products and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. Your role will be key in driving sales and maintaining the welcoming atmosphere of our store.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage with customers, offering assistance and product recommendations.
  • Provide detailed product information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain the visual appeal of the sales floor, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and shelves are well-stocked.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking items and organizing the stockroom.
  • Promote ongoing sales, special offers, and loyalty programs to customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and ensure the smooth operation of the store.
  • Stay informed about our products, services, and promotions to provide knowledgeable assistance.
  • Participate in store events, promotions, and training sessions as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a retail or sales role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • A customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Enthusiasm for the entertainment industry and a desire to stay informed about our products and services.
