Science Teacher (30 Hours per Week)

Position: Science Teacher (30 Hours per Week)
Location: Fareham 

This flourishing Secondary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team, working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality science education to the students, fostering a love for the subject and encouraging academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that stimulates interest and understanding in scientific concepts.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall science program and participate in school-wide initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive school culture through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A background in science, preferably to GCSE level or above.
  • Proven experience teaching science at the secondary school level is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for science education.
