Recovery Worker

As a Recovery worker, youll be responsible for working with and motivating service users to engage in the recovery programmes we offer in Devon. Our service welcomes people at any stage in their recovery journey, starting with the open end of harm reduction, through to brief interventions, extended interventions and structured treatment, and Recovery Navigators offer support throughout. 

We have 3 permanent positions and 1 fixed term position available.

Day-to-day duties include: 

  • Working autonomously to manage a caseload of service users, including delivering a range of psychosocial interventions. 
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to undertake ongoing assessments, risk assessments, and appropriate referrals within the community.
  • Facilitating group sessions with a range of individuals of varying backgrounds. 
  • Working with partnership agencies to ensure continuity of care and support. 
  • Providing duty cover for individuals accessing our services.

The salary advertised above demonstrates the full earning potential for this role, starting salaries will allow for pay progression within the pay band
