We are a team of specialist Employment Law, HR and Health and Safety advisors that work with over 600 client companies throughout England. We are now looking for a strategic yet hands-on Head of Marketing to lead and shape our marketing efforts, strengthen our brand presence, and drive growth.
As the Head of Marketing, you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and have responsibility for developing and executing the company’s marketing strategy, with a focus on increasing brand visibility, lead generation, and client engagement and retention. Reporting directly to the Board, you will be expected to take ownership of all marketing activities while managing a small, dedicated marketing team. This is a key role for a motivated and creative marketing leader who thrives in a fast-paced, environment.

THE ROLE
- Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives and core values.
- Brand Building: Strengthen the company’s brand positioning in the market, ensuring it reflects our values of Graft, Together, Heart, and Grit.
- Lead Generation: Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns (including digital content and offline marketing) to generate quality leads and nurture prospects through the sales funnel.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a small marketing team, ensuring optimal performance and professional growth.
- Content Creation: Oversee the production of high-quality, value-driven content that resonates with our target audience/buyer avatar and promotes thought leadership in our industry.
- Digital Marketing: Drive the company’s online presence through website management, email marketing, social media strategy and SEO.
- Data-Driven Insights: Track, analyse, and report on marketing metrics and campaign performance to the Board, using insights to refine strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with all departments to align marketing efforts with business goals and ensure a cohesive client experience.
- External Partnerships: Manage relationships with external agencies, designers, and other marketing service providers as required.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate for the position of Head of Marketing will possess the following qualifications, experience and qualities:
Qualification and Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within the professional services sector.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing, lead generation, and brand management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies from scratch.
- Hands-on experience in digital marketing (SEO, social media, email, etc.).
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience mentoring and developing talent.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Data-driven mindset with a strong focus on tracking, analysing, and optimising marketing performance.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while remaining aligned with company values.

PAY & BENEFITS
- Annual Salary: £50,000 per annum - Mon-Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm – Min 30 hours.
- Holidays: 25 days + bank hols (Additional Holidays for length of service).
- Pension Scheme:- Salary sacrifice pension scheme 5% employee and 5% employer contribution
