Admiral Nurse

** Travel Required to support the homes within the group **

Hours per week: 40, Monday-Friday
Rate of pay: up to £25 per hour plus mileage expenses


As a Senior Dementia Specialist Nurse, you'll be a key player in helping the service carry out the My Life Strategy. Your presence in clinical areas will help raise awareness, provide practical support for families, and promote best practices across our client's care homes.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid UK NMC pin
  • Extensive experience in dementia nursing

Key Responsibilities:
  • You'll conduct assessments and provide evidence-based care, offering practical advice and emotional support to families of those with dementia, our care team, and the individuals themselves when needed.
  • You'll work alongside Dementia Care Managers to implement the My Life Strategy, making sure our homes deliver top-notch dementia care.
  • Develop and run training programs for our care home staff and the families of those living with dementia, helping everyone stay informed and skilled.
  • You'll help shape, review, and audit this specialized area of practice.
  • Offer support during all stages, including bereavement, to ensure families and residents are fully cared for.
