ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Nursery Practioner’s will be working in the Explorers room and looks after the educational and social development of babies and young children up to the age of five. Their primary duties include providing children with a safe environment to learn, helping them to develop basic social and behavioural skills and engaging them in age-appropriate play activities. In joining us, you’ll also become part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness to all those who work in our Nurseries.

Tops Babbacombe Nurseryis a 50 place Day Nursery & Pre-School situated in Babbacombe Road, Torquay. The nursery runs a number of extra-curricular activities including Hi 5s before school and after school club for school children up to the age of 8, Boogie Mites, and much more

A minimum of a Level 3 in Early Years care and Education is essential.

Some of the primary skills we are looking for will be someone will include:

Commitment in working with our children, working in the Early Years sector can be as intensive as it is rewarding so you must have a passion for child development and dedicating to caring. Creative skills and imagination to provide educational activities to children that can ensure the child is happy and learning in a rewarding environment.
