Job summary

We are looking for a Patient Administrator to join our Endoscopy team on a full time basis, at our Endoscopy unit in Witney.

As a Patient Administrator with InHealth, you will ensure our patients receive a professional and patient focused service throughout their diagnostic pathway.

Working alongside your clinical colleagues in a dynamic, fast paced environment, you will also provide administrative support for the endoscopy services we provide.

Main duties of the job

What you will do:

Providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for all patients, coordinating their arrival through to departure

Dealing with telephone and direct enquiries in a prompt and effective manner, ensuring the provision of information and prioritisation of queries as appropriate

Ensuring that clinically validated appointments are booked appropriately and according to clinical priority on the appointments system

Tracking and distributing imaging data and reports to referrers, ensuring that results are dispatched in line with clinical priority and contractual performance indicators

Assisting in the completion of month end administrative procedures for the management teamEnsuring all patients are invoiced promptly and accurately and that payment is taken on the day, recorded, and banked promptly

About you:

Experienced working in a customer or patient focused environment

Confident using Microsoft packages and other IT systems

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

The ability to work independently and as part of a multi skilled team

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a Patient Admin to join our Endoscopy team on a full time basis ( x4 shifts a week, 8am - 6pm , including weekend which will be on a rotation), at our Endoscopy unit in Witney. As a Patient Admin with InHealth, you will ensure our patients receive a professional and patient focused service throughout their diagnostic pathway. Working alongside your clinical colleagues in a dynamic, fast paced environment, you will also provide administrative support for the endoscopy services we provide.

What you will do:

Providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for all patients, coordinating their arrival through to departure General administrative duties to support the unit team such as scanning documents, preparing patient notes and updating patient administration systems with accurate information relating to patient appointments Dealing with telephone and direct enquiries in a prompt and effective manner, ensuring the provision of information and prioritisation of queries as appropriate Tracking and distributing reports to referrers, ensuring that results are dispatched in line with timescales Working with the wider operational team and the booking service to resolve queries and ensure the best patient experience at all times.
