As a Barista at Sodexo, you will be responsible for creating exceptional drinks and serving this along with food from our varied menu which includes cake, sandwiches & wraps, paninis & toasties, to name a few choices available. At Hereford County Hospital, you can play a part to easing some of the stress that is frequently associated with hospitalisation by extending a warm welcome and engaging in professional yet friendly conversation with patients, staff, and visitors. What you’ll do: 

  • Maintain a clean and organised work area and follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Operating and maintaining coffee making equipment
  • Operate a cash register (or equivalent), receiving payments and providing customer service
  • Maintain proper security of cash and understand and follow Sodexo cash-handling policies and procedures  

What you bring: 

  • Great communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude   
  • Ability to use an espresso machine or willingness to learn barista service and food preparation
  • Experience using a cash register or EPOS system
  • Passion for maintaining a healthy and safe environment
