We are pleased to welcome applications for the post of Consultant Otolorayngologist in Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

We are looking for candidates with a sub-specialty interest in Advanced Rhinology. Applicants must have suitable Fellowship experience.

We have close bonds with the universities in Glasgow and the MRC and have a rich record of research and teaching. The successful applicant would be encouraged to participate and develop this role.

You will join the largest collaborative team of ENT Consultants in the UK within one of the largest state of the art teaching hospitals in Europe delivering elective, emergency and outpatient services across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Following centralisation of emergency receiving, our inpatient services are based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, and Consultants participate in a 1 in 10 on call rota.

The job is offered as a full-time post on a 10 PA basis but applications will be considered from those wishing to work less than full-time.

All newly qualified Consultants are initially offered a minimum of 1 Core Supporting Professional Activity (SPA) which includes CPD, audit, clinical governance, appraisal, revalidation, job planning and management meetings. This will be reviewed within

6 months (or earlier if required) of appointment and revised upwards if additional responsibilities are agreed.
