Hexcel is currently seeking a Technician III for our Duxford, UK location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
To undertake project(s), where appropriate, or provide technical or practical support in specific areas in order to improve the Company's products, processes, and technology. To plan the technical aspects of the work with guidance from their supervisor. To inform their supervisor of circumstances likely to affect project plans at an early stage. To develop improvements to working methods and to think about innovative ways when approaching problems using known tools. To have expertise and develop a level of background understanding on areas of techniques To communicate progress of projects, data from experiments, etc. to all necessary levels, by verbal or written communication, which could include technical reports and presentations to an internal audience.Qualifications:
The job holder will be educated in a technical subject. Competent to undertake day-to-day activities with minimal guidance and written or verbal instruction. Practical experience of working in a laboratory, particularly in materials science, process development or engineering environment would be an advantage. Keen eye for detail and practically minded. Able to demonstrate a proactive and methodical approach to work.Candidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
